What Can You Do With Web Design

(building your own website)

Building My New Website

I'm learning to building with web design. I think I've learn to use Wordpress before.

Because it's customizable, it has always been my choice to set up a domain and maybe, a site hosting service to host the entire website.

But here I am using Webflow with my student resources to build another site as a starting point. It's somewhat new but looks easier to navigate.

The platform is quite good to use so far, I never knew this meant learning to build with web design!

I'm writing my experience of building new skills right now, and this is one of them that I may have found that I'm sticking with.

It's not building from scratch with complex codes, but I'm proud to finally stick with the tutorials from Webflow University that lets me learn more effortlessly.

Lol, i focused on the tutorial yet not feeling drowned for the first time in a while.

There must be something cool about them making their content to make users stay.

Or maybe this time, when my matte computer screen is on fire. I borrowed the computer from my family. You are one of the first person to know this news, of me building a new website for myself. :)

An Update: Continue furnishing this website

It took me a month later, on July to get back and update this site.

I was distracted by other projects that i'm taking time to enjoy and build.

  • Make t-shirt designs
  • Watch TV shows (something certain to reduce time on)
  • Edit a video
  • Go for a walk
  • Built a planner

Quite bad to say on the progress and it's a habit thing. (to delay things happen)

Hate to be in the tutorial loop hole

The reality of a getting into a tutorial loop hole does not really help me with the learning process.

I often get stucked or sleepy while i watch and follow something entirely.

It's embarrassing to not realize it earlier, that following instruction step by step isn't the only way to get to what you want.

That includes completing a project with the look you wanted it to have.

Instead of getting bored to build the same website with the tutorial, consider that it would be better to:

  1. Take a pen and paper
  2. Ask yourself what revamp does your current site need
  3. Go to ChatGPT and ask for the parts you want to build separately
  4. Make small changes to your website

I think this is a better way that gets me to further update this project and not just forget about it.

I don't want half baked projects anymore, it sounds like having a 3-minute attention span on something I like.

I guess a good way of learning can help. I just need to search for a better method suitable for me.

Anything is Hard (or Easy)

Understand that anything can be hard if it is the only thing you deemed so, not taking any lesson or realizing a mistake can only take you so far.

Remember the passion to realizing your potential and choosing something you like, eventually gets you down to this road that:-

Oh well, it's so tough to continue on this project.

I might not want to do it anymore.

But yet, you still try to make it through just because of that tiny little purpose that has you started on it.

Something that you like in the process.

Then you are willingly to say yes to it again, when it is just like another simple day.

Because your passion can make enduring not a suffer, but something to enjoy about.

That's all for now.

We'll see when this blog launches.
