How I Make Things in the Programming World

stacking knowledge and skills

I told one of my friends I was learning new languages and they used to study in CS too, but I guess they don't understand what i meant.

They thought i was actually learning new languages like French, or Spanish. and so i literally explained by chatting to them:

Yes, I am testing out new programming languages.

With all my heart, and will play around with some projects.

Here's what I have tried in the past two months:

  • Outlining projects I want to do and haven't learn before
  • Go to job searching websites and look through posting requirements
  • Had my first interview (in a long time) with company for work
  • Went to career fair and see what's possible

Since i haven't find a good way to streamline my work and routine, it's been a out of focus for a long time.

Until i decided that I may need to learn what is up with the current stack that developers need to contribute:

And so i started to learn what is possible with the current tech and know how does these coding tasks work to create something useful.

Then i went back and forth with some small projects and searching on the Internet for the most part:

I started to learn these:

  • React
  • A lot of HTML, CSS, JS
  • Django / Flask
  • Python
  • Github
  • Backend db like Postgresql, pgAdmin, MySQL query
  • Angular (current)

My current projects are almost half fulfilled and some of them got stuck at either a login register and more plan out should be done to have the idea fulfilled.

Most importantly is it really helpful to build that thing and do I really like it from the start.

I think that'll determine if I can continue to work on it, even at difficult times and having clarity for it.

That's why i also gave good names to my projects so that it looks so much more interesting to me.

cool name i gave to my angular app

Other List of Items I Tried Building:

  1. a pixel art drawer (ended up some friends liking it) -> cutepixo
  2. cute living heart pouncing animation -> heartslive
  3. fyuto grocery store -> in dev
  4. chiiryo creative project manager -> simple CRUD i'm still learning
  5. gratitude journal analysis -> gratitude-journal

no.5 i use python libraries to test out what words are most used in entries with sample data, this random idea made me learn how datasets can work together to help linking what makes people happy and may be useful for understanding how people feel for the day, or were they having good emotions etc.

using word cloud python library and found what people may resonate for happiness

it's sample data but it looks like that's how data sets and machine learning work. but i also wonder if that will leak people's privacy on their own journal entries and think there should be a better way for people to opt in for this, and use for certain analysis only.

I also think with a few good activities you can gathered for yourself, there are really many possibilities for you to create, and felt good to appreciate the day. Then we can ended up with what we wanted, a good routine but not bored. And you will stand by to appreciate what is in the present more.

However from what i recently study about, it is also important to keep a healthy mindset no matter through hardships or happy times. So that you can elevate your mood better and keep in touch with your well being.

Bye, at the moment i am going to eat my lunch.
