How I Practice Love and Gratitude in Daily Life
(a superpower in your daily routine)
What Does It Mean To be Content?
I used to learn French a little, and one of its word that I learn to pronounce is content. It is pronounce as kon-ton.
That is where I get to know its meaning of being happy. To find contentment in the daily life.
But practicing it doesn’t come a full circle to me, where there must have been time: I get mad at what irritates me such as getting a code error for working on the same project for 3 hours.
It felt like a failure, and my mindset wouldn’t be able to shift when these happen.
This is just one of the examples that seems like a dead end.
But usually the problem is solved at the end.
After a nap or taking a break. So it wasn’t a big deal to ruin a day to be honest.
So the key includes in how to treat difficulties better and not making yourself suffer during the growth process.
The key is simple: -
Taking time to practice love and gratitude.
It makes you embrace what you have now and not looking elsewhere.
Cultivate Love and Gratitude
I want to share with you a few things that I learn to be grateful and have peace in life. (it’s important because it helps you look within, and have better contentment while you work).
Things that I started to appreciate more in life:
- be somewhere in nature
- being able to breathe, eat and rest under a roof
- spend time with loved ones
- see animals
- listen to music
- take a long walk
- read a meaningful book
- get into the sun
- talk to someone
- appreciate everyday is a routine - day in, day out.
I’ll probably share more on what it is like when you started to do these practice but it is good for the well being and I enjoy it.
The bonus point is that getting into the sun brings positivity to you.
I used to only pay attention to the moon as I was more inclined to it, haha.
Talk soon.
